ReptiSan Habitat Disinfectant and Cleaner Concentrate (5 fl. oz.)

$8.00

ReptiSan Habitat Disinfectant and Cleaner is a great cleaning product for reptile and amphibian habitats! Safe and easy to use, this Chlorhexidine gluconate solution is widely used in veterinary hospitals and zoos around the world. Chlorhexidine is also one of the disinfecting agents in mouthwash, as well as a surgical scrub and wound cleanser in hospitals.

How does it work?

Chlorhexidine gluconate binds to the cell membrane of bacteria, causing all bacterial reproduction to stop, and killing the bacteria. It's particularly effective against such bacteria as Streptococcus agalactiae, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, Streptococcus uberis, Staphylococcus aureus, E. coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Why should I use it?

ReptiSan is much safer to use than other habitat cleaners on the market. Unlike bleach, ReptiSan does not have an odor or fumes that can harm your animals. ReptiSan is a non-toxic, non-irritating agent possessing a wide range of antiseptic and antimicrobial activity against organisms such as bacteria and fungi. Bottom line, it's safe for use around animals!

Directions for use:
